FDA issued warning letter CMS #730351 dated May 26, 2026, after an FSVP inspection of Pamex Foods Incorporated at 7900 Parston Drive, District Heights, MD, from Jan. 30–Feb. 10, 2026 (prior inspection Nov. 2022).
Investigators found the firm had not developed, maintained, and followed an FSVP for any imported foods, including English/Worcestershire sauce, frozen stuffed corn tortilla, and corn flour (foreign suppliers redacted). FDA said it could not evaluate the firm’s Feb. 25, 2026, corrective-action plan because supporting FSVP documents were never provided despite follow-up requests.
The letter also states the District Heights facility appeared subject to food-facility registration under section 415 and warns of possible refusal of admission and detention without physical examination under Import Alert 99-41.
