The Newsletter is delivered using Beehiiv. By subscribing, you agree to provide a valid email address and receive the Tortilla News Brief. You may unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in any Newsletter. We may discontinue, change, or limit the Newsletter at any time.
Intellectual Property and Limited License
The Site, Newsletter, articles, headlines, photographs, graphics, logos, design, compilation, and other materials are owned by Food Lab, Inc. or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. All rights are reserved except as expressly stated in these Terms.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and read publicly available Site content and to print or save reasonable excerpts for your own personal or internal business reference. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE TOTAL LIABILITY OF FOOD LAB, INC. AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SITE, NEWSLETTER, OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE RELEVANT SERVICE DURING THE SIX MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100). Indemnity

Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms, and any dispute arising out of or relating to the Site, the Newsletter, or these Terms, are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any such dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Knox County, Tennessee, and you and we consent to the personal jurisdiction of and venue in those courts. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
Changes and Termination
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version with a new effective date. We may suspend or end access to the Site or Newsletter at any time, including for misuse or operational reasons. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including provisions concerning intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnity, governing law, and disputes.
Severability and Entire Agreement
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
