The company says MASA is now sold in more than 3,000 retail locations nationwide, including Sprouts, Erewhon, Wegmans, Whole Foods Market, Target, The Fresh Market and HEB, and that it produces more than 400,000 bags a month. The chips are made with three ingredients: organic nixtamalized corn, salt and grass-fed and finished beef tallow, with no seed oils, according to the release.
"We're proud to bring our snacks to Costco members and offer them in a larger format that delivers more value," Ancient Crunch CEO Steven Rofrano said in the release.
