Corbion has added Verdad Essence WH150, a second cultured-wheat mold inhibitor, to its natural preservation range, according to a company release reprinted by Perishable News Sept. 10, 2026. Food Business News covered it Sept. 22.
Like the earlier WH100, the ingredient is meant to extend mold-free life without hurting flavor, texture or quality, and Corbion's product pages list tortillas and flatbreads among uses alongside breads and buns. It is pitched as a clean-label, drop-in swap.
Corbion is offering application help and predictive modeling so bakers can test preservation earlier in development. It said WH150 is available in some regions only.
