C.H. Guenther & Son has bought House-Autry Mills, a family-owned producer of dry mixes and flavor systems sold under its own brand and made to order for retail, foodservice and private-label buyers, CHG announced (reported Sept. 16, 2026). Terms were not disclosed.
House-Autry dates to 1812 and is based in Four Oaks, N.C. It blends and packs breaders, batters, seasonings and hushpuppy and biscuit mixes at sites in North Carolina and Georgia.
CEO Rod Hepponstall said the business complements CHG's grain-based and frozen foodservice lines. It is CHG's third deal after tortilla makers Fresca Mexican Foods and Les Aliments Mejicano, and adds products sold to many of the same QSR and foodservice accounts that buy tortillas.
